Job Description
Saint Alphonsus is in need of 2 Interventional Cardiologist to cover call for their Nampa campus!
Start: Nov/Dec 2025
Schedule: Hospital call coverage only 7a-7a
Schedule: Hospital call coverage only 7a-7a
Availability: must be able to work 5-6 day blocks TWICE per month
Details:
- Inpatient only
- Patient volume varies - 3 consults per day 2 procedures per day
- Trauma level II
- 18 ICU beds 18 tele beds and 10 CMU beds
- APP support - APPs- M-F 1-2 APPs are staffed during the day weekends- 1 APP for 5 hours/day
- Interventional cardiology procedures required
- TEEs would be highly preferred. Balloon pumps coronary stents IVUs and IFR are important.
- STEMI volumes vary 2020 they averaged 3 STEMI activations per week
Travel Requirements:
- Flights - $750/round trip cap (to include all taxes and fees)
- Lodging - $179/night cap for hotels (to include all taxes and fees). Preferred Lodging: Candlewood Suites Boise Towne Square an IHG Hotel.
- Rental Car - To be reimbursed by facility (not to be used with personal car/mileage reimbursement). $50/day cap (including all taxes and fees) regardless of car class. SUV/upgrades over cap will need to be preapproved (will only be approved if needed for inclement weather).
- Mileage - IRS Standard Rate to be reimbursed by facility (only to be used with personal vehicle not to be used with rental car).
Bill Rates Needed for Submission:
- Malpractice (must be included in the rates)
- Orientation
- 24 Hour On Call ($3600 rate cap - with 8 gratis hours)
- Holiday 24 Hour On Call ($5600 rate cap - with 4 gratis hours (regardless of the day of week))
- Weekend Call ($3600 rate cap - with 4 gratis hours)
- Holiday Weekend Call ($5600 rate cap - with 4 gratis hours (regardless of the day of week))

- Holiday Call Back
- Conversion fee ($25k rate cap)
Please make sure you have the following items readily available for your provider at the time of acceptance in order to expedite the credentialing process
- MD diploma
- Internship/residency/fellowship certs
- All medical licenses
- DEA
- Board Certification
- Life support cards- BLS
- Current and previous certificates of insurance
- Driver s license
- Professional color photo/headshot
- CMEs for the past 2 years
- Immunization records including TB Flu HepB Tdap Varicella and COVID
- References
- Case logs
Requirement description :
- Board Certified Interventional Cardiology - REQUIRED
- Active ID license or active IMLC (LOQ at time of name clear) - REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice and no background - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Local candidates no flights - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Must meet perm rate cap of $25k - REQUIRED
- Must have COVID vaccine in order to work at this facility - REQUIRED - Verbal confirmation required at time of name clear
