Travel- RN Mental Health (Contract Role)

Job Details:

Location: Laconia NH 03246
Duration: 13-weeks contract
Shift: 12 hr Nights
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $1944 $2088; (Negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care to psychiatric and behavioral health patients.
Complete assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients mental health status.
Administer medications and monitor their effects.
Collaborate with psychiatrists therapists and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
Document patient care and progress accurately in the EMR system.
Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment plans.
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.

Required Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in mental health psychiatric or behavioral health nursing.
Must have documented travel experience in similar settings (if applying for a travel role).
Active RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact State RN license.
Current Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior)
EMR Experience Preferred: Cerner (preferred but not required).
