Job Description
Job Details:
- Location: Laconia NH 03246
- Duration: 13-weeks contract
- Shift: 12 hr Nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $1944 $2088; (Negotiable based on experience)
- Deliver direct nursing care to psychiatric and behavioral health patients.
- Complete assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients mental health status.
- Administer medications and monitor their effects.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists therapists and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
- Document patient care and progress accurately in the EMR system.
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mental health psychiatric or behavioral health nursing.
- Must have documented travel experience in similar settings (if applying for a travel role).
- Active RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact State RN license.
- Current Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior)
- EMR Experience Preferred: Cerner (preferred but not required).
