Registered Nurse- Medical / Surgical (Contract Role)

Location: Laconia NH 03246
Duration: 13-weeks contract
Shift: 12hr Nights 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $1980 $2160; (Negotiable based on experience)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical team in Laconia NH for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Deliver safe competent and compassionate nursing care to adult patients in a Medical/Surgical unit.
Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed following hospital protocols.
Monitor record and communicate patient condition and response to treatment.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and post-hospital care.
Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately in the EMR system.
Adhere to infection control safety and quality standards at all times.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ASN or BSN).
Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (Medical/Surgical specialty)
Licensure: Active NH RN license or Compact State RN license (required).
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
- NIHSS (Stroke Certification) required
EMR Experience: Cerner preferred (not required).
Licensure Verification: All active RN licenses must be verified.
