Job Description
Job Location: Lansing MI (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract
Job Description:

Provide oversight leadership and accountability for large-scale IT projects.

Ensure adherence to State of Michigan project management methodology (SUITE) and best practices.

Manage budgets schedules scope and quality control.
-
Coordinate with vendors and manage contracts.
-
Perform long-term release and resource planning.
-
Identify and manage project risks and issues escalating as needed.

Communicate project status and updates to agency leadership.

Assist in evaluating technical requirements and proposing solutions.
Requirement:
-
Experience managing large projects (6 months 20 team members).
-
Strong leadership team coordination and problem-solving skills.
-
Experience in budget scope and schedule management.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups and build relationships.
-
Basic understanding of IT infrastructure including networks firewalls servers storage cloud and related components.
