Job Description
- Maintains awareness of customer needs and implements operations of department to ensure compliance with standards and requirements as it relates to laboratory services provided to patients from the neonate to geriatrics.
- Develops and implements laboratory policies and procedures consistent with regulatory agencies and hospitals mission.
- Ensures that lab tests and procedures are performed in a timely and cost effective manner and accurate test results are provided to medical/hospital staff and patients.
- Ensures compliance with applicable policies standards medical bylaws and regulatory requirements.
- Maintains current awareness of federal and state regulatory requirements.
- Provides assistance regarding specific laboratory problems and applications of hospital and laboratory policies.
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Medical Technologist Required
- Minimum 1 year experience supervisory or Lead Technologist experience Required
