Turret Slitter Operator: 2nd Shift Opportunity in Miamisburg OH
Join our team in Miamisburg Ohio where we produce custom and stock labels tickets and tags for major organizations in logistics food and retail. Were looking for a dedicated Turret Slitter Operator to work our 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) Sunday through Thursday.

Your Role as a Turret Slitter Operator
As a Turret Slitter Operator youll specialize in operating a variety of slitting tubing and turret machines. Youll work with a team to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Machine Operation: Set up operate and troubleshoot turret slitter machines making necessary adjustments to ensure a quality production run.
- Quality Control: Review customer order specifications and perform complex set-ups and changeovers ensuring all materials are ready and a quality product is produced.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with teammates group leaders and other departments like Quality and Warehouse to achieve production goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Offer input on current processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Youll also assist in training and supporting other team members.

Qualifications :
What You Need to Have to be Considered for the Role...
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in performing basic math calculations including decimals and percentages
- Good vision including color
- Eye-hand coordination and dexterity
- Mechanical aptitude
- Proficiency in the use of overlay gauges reading shop scales and other measurement tools
- The ability to learn and use computer programs with a high level of accuracy for reporting production
- The ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- The ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs and lift up to 30lbs over head
- The ability to continuously stand stoop bend push and pull
- The ability to learn and/or demonstrate the use and application of ELS principles and techniques within 30 days after completing formal job training
- Availability to work overtime (there is mandatory and voluntary overtime)
