Position Summary:
We are looking for a candidate who is friendly has a positive attitude a willingness to help co-create and cultivate a positive work environment and can serve as a role model and motivator to the team. Trimmers are self-motivated and take pride in their work. They can problem solve provide analysis and perform required tasks while adhering to company safety security privacy policies and state/local regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
Processing product in preparation for trim room which includes taking product down from hanging racks removing buds from stems checking moisture/verifying desired moisture is met and weighing/logging all material.
Remove fan leaf from branches.
Manicure flower in a timely and efficient manner.
Remove crows feet and leaf while preserving product integrity.
Ability to identify diseases such as bud rot and pest damage.
Ability to identify strains to prevent mixing batches.
Participating in and accountable for quality control
Manipulating stem length for highest quality presentation
Maintain an organized tray sorting out small buds/trim and removing waste/fan leaf from trim.
Trimmers should be able to complete a minimum of 5lbs in 8 hours sitting.
Cleaning equipment totes and workspaces
Qualifications:
Experience working a production line (with machinery) is preferred: I.e. weight machines capping machines conveyor belts label application printers etc.
Working on adjusting and fixing machinery related to a production line.
Quality control experience in marijuana food or other clean industries
Competent at problem solving under pressure of production quotas.
Good time management and efficient workflow
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders stairways stooping kneeling crouching and reaching and use hands/fingers to hold grasp turn pick pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks.
Must be able to navigate through corporate office environments with or without the use of mobility aids.
Must have the manual dexterity to complete job functions with or without accommodation.
Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading viewing a computer terminal visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers vendors etc. (Moderate noise)
Must be able to push pull move and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push pull move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet with or without mechanical assistance.
