About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned HR Solutions Partner with substantial HR generalist experienceideally gained within a large dynamic organizationto join us for a 12-month contract supporting our Operations and IT divisions. Youll work closely with HR Business Partners and HR Centres of Expertise to deliver robust high-quality HR solutions to leaders and employees. This role is based at our Gothenburg site a vibrant nexus of innovation with over 2400 colleagues representing 50 countries.

Success in this role requires hands-on HR expertise across the employee lifecycle a proven ability to operate effectively at scale and confidence partnering with stakeholders at all levels. Youll provide strategic and operational guidance on HR policies and practices support business-specific initiatives and help deliver key projects that shape AstraZenecas people agenda.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver broad HR generalist support including advice on employment matters (e.g. disciplinary grievance attendance management parental leave) escalating to Employee Relations and Centres of Expertise when appropriate
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues globally and regionally to enhance the employee experience through timely accurate service
  • Act as a first point-of-contact and trusted HR partner ensuring professional and effective support for a range of HR activities and programs
  • Ensure flawless execution of people processes across the businessincluding performance management reward employee relations change management compensation and workforce planning
  • Partner with HRBPs to co-design and drive delivery of key HR projects aligned with People Plan priorities
  • Deputise for HRBPs as needed representing HR at key meetings and in functional communications
  • Engage proactively with stakeholders at all levels globally and locally influencing key people decisions

Essential Requirements

  • Strong hands-on HR experiencepreferably in a large complex organization
  • Proven HR Generalist background with experience providing advice and support to employees managers and senior leaders
  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent qualification)
  • In-depth working knowledge of varied HR topics including resourcing performance and reward employee relations learning & development and organizational change
  • Demonstrable attention to detail excellent analytical skills and a track record of accurate complete execution
  • Outstanding communication skills able to build relationships quickly and credibly
  • Self-starter able to prioritize independently and deliver results with minimal supervision
  • Experience effectively managing HR projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint Box)

Desirable Requirements

  • Familiarity with HR systems (Workday ServiceNow)
  • Experience supporting a large internal client or employee base
  • Working knowledge of AstraZeneca HR policies and procedures
