Role- Control Systems Engineer
Salaryper annum (Dependent on experience please advise what youre looking for)
Type- Permanent
Location- Near Glasgow
The Control Systems Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Be Degree/ HND/ HNC/ NVQ qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
- 2 years or more of industry experience working in a similar Electrical Controls role ideally (strong Graduates may also be considered)
- Be confident carrying out the programming of control systems from scratch i.e Siemens Rockwell Beckhoff)
- Have experience configuring Variable Speed Drives i.e ABB Nidec etc.
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible to travel as needed as part of the role
- Full Driving Licence
The Control Systems Engineer role will involve:
- Programming PLCs from scratch
- Developing HMI and SCADA applications
- Working closely with Electrical Design Engineers
- Taking solutions from concept right through to commissioning
- Delivering projects on time and within budget
- Configuring Variable Speed Drivers
- Ensuring company standards are always adhered to
- Travelling to customer sites as required for commissioning activities
- Providing remote support for systems
- Creating the required documentation
