The Opportunity:
We are seeking a talented QA Engineer to help ensure top product quality in our rapidly growing company. You will be focused on testing our core product conducting end-to-end testing across various technologies along with our proprietary AR and AI solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases focused on both backend and frontend features to ensure product quality across the stack.
Take primary responsibility for querying data testing backend and frontend data changes and ensuring data integrity performance and UI functionality.
Lead efforts to identify document and troubleshoot errors in both backend and frontend areas providing detailed analysis and potential solutions.
Collaborate closely with Development Product and other teams to clarify specifications address issues/concerns and identify risks throughout the software development life cycle ensuring alignment across backend and frontend requirements and dependencies.
Actively contribute to a scrum team working with developers DevOps and Product teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
Lead the QA effort in sprint planning and retrospectives providing insights into backend and frontend testing considerations.
Develop apply and maintain manual and automation scripts for both backend and frontend testing of new and existing products with a focus on enhancing full-stack test automation.
Continuously update and refine testing methodologies tools and processes to improve testing effectiveness across backend and frontend technologies and practices.
Familiarity and practical experience using AI tools for testing
Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science Information Systems or a related field.
3 years of experience as a QA Engineer specializing in backend and frontend testing on web applications.
Experience with database queries particularly in NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB).
Experience in scripting languages like Python.
Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Postman or Selenium advantage.
Experience with mobile application testing advantage.
Experience with AI-related tools or technologies advantage.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proven track record of effective cross-functional collaboration with strong interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills with experience in identifying and resolving complex backend issues.
Interest in staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in QA practices.
