This is an exciting and varied role within the Trent Fleet Mature (TFM) Value stream which supports the Trentand 7000 products. More specifically the main scope of this role is to perform an Airframer Engineering role for the Trent 700 and Trent 500 fleets which offer a breath of experience and a chance to work in a flagship legacy Rolls-Royce product which significantly contributes to Civils financial position.

Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office home or another remote location. Its a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum were all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons on average three days per week.
What you will be doing:
The successful candidate would be based in Derby but will have the opportunity to travel to Toulouse where some Technical Review Meetings take place with Airbus.
Qualifications
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have technical experience in an engineering manufacturing or logistics environment. Critical to the role will be sharing and promoting best practice and you will need to possess strong interpersonal skills to ensure rapport is quickly and effectively built at all levels of the organisation. You will need to deal with high levels of ambiguity work well under pressure and use your influencing skills to ensure on time delivery of customer commitments through others. Previous experience of project management would be beneficial.

To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets we can only progress applications from individualswho are a UK national or in MoD approved cases a dual national.

The professional level and salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate but is anticipated to be Staff Grade 9-10.
