Who are we looking for

Were seeking a seasoned Dams Engineer at Senior to Principal level to join our market-leading Brisbane-based Dams Group. Our South Queensland team delivers some of the most complex and high-profile dams and hydropower projects across Australia and internationally offering you the opportunity to lead innovate and make a lasting impact.

Working with a flexible welcoming and high-performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you:

Provide Technical Leadership.

  • Deliver expert input across geotechnical structural hydraulic design and construction management disciplines.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Support Client Engagement & Business Development

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Lead proposal development and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.

Support Team Development

  • Mentor and support junior engineers.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Drive Project Delivery

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities.
  • Support site-based assignments during construction phases as needed.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Minimum bachelors degree qualifications in civil engineering or related discipline.
  • RPEQ registration (or commitment to attain).
  • Significant experience in dams engineering (geotechnical structural hydraulic).
  • Proven experience in design and/or construction management.
  • Strong leadership communication and client engagement skills.
