HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is looking for a Chief CRNA who is passionate about high quality patient care and leading a team focused on excellence at our HCA Florida South Shore Hospital in Sun City Florida. Located about 45 minutes south of Tampa off I-75 our facility serves the communities of Sun City Center Ruskin Wimauma Riverview Apollo Beach and Gibsonton.
As the Chief CRNA youll lead and supervise a dedicated group of anesthesia professionals. You will play a pivotal role in aligning facility goals with divisional objectives while ensuring optimal patient care delivery. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop continuous performance improvement and risk management programs.
Ensure compliance with licensure certification and credentialing requirements.
Lead educational initiatives to meet APP continuing education needs.
Maintain efficient perioperative workflow and oversee scheduling.
Collaborate with leadership to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
Oversee recruitment efforts for quality APPs in collaboration with recruitment teams.
Supervise and evaluate staff APPs ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
Foster strong communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.

Care Team Model of 4 physicians 4 CRNAs covering 4 ORs plus 2 NORA.
Diverse mix of cases including heavy Ortho General Endo Neuro Gastro Bariatrics.
No hearts no pediatrics no OB.
Average surgical volume of 3600 cases annually.
Supervision model (2 Physicians on during the day. Physicians sit cases as needed.)
No call. No Weekends. Schedule is 4 10s.
