Job Description

Position: Program Analyst
Location: Fort Detrick MD
Work Environment: Hybrid
Status: Contingent upon award

Knowesis is currently seeking an exceptional Program Analyst to join our team and support the planning coordination and execution of meetings conferences and high-visibility events for Department of Defense (DoD)-affiliated programs.

To be eligible for this position candidates possess U.S. Citizenship without the need for sponsorship both now and in the future. Applicants without proof of U.S. Citizenship will not be considered due to the positions security requirements.

The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide full-scope support for technical administrative translation and logistical requirements associated with meetings and conferences.
  • Plan organize and execute a variety of events including working groups project reviews technical meetings briefings committees workshops and symposia.
  • Develop or support the development of technical event plans and work closely with technical program planning committees as needed.
  • Prepare and manage all required DoD meeting documentation including meeting approval packages and after-action reports.
  • Coordinate and make travel arrangements for attendees in compliance with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).
  • Arrange for appropriate meeting venues equipment accommodations and services (e.g. interpreters IT support).
  • Prepare and distribute pre-meeting materials and event documentation.
  • Draft post-meeting summaries and reports to support program documentation requirements.
  • Lead and support planning coordination and execution of the biennial Shoresh Meeting (up to 400 participants) whether hosted domestically or in Israel. This includes venue selection equipment logistics participant accommodations and ongoing communication with international partners.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Communications Hospitality/Event Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 35 years supporting event/meeting planning logistics or administrative operationspreferably within a DoD or federal government environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).
  • Proven experience coordinating logistics for high-visibility events or government meetings.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
