The Senior Systems Engineer will provide technical leadership and systems engineering expertise for the Enterprise Information Management Systems supporting the Eagle Command contract. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of systems engineering activities ensuring robust secure and compliant solutions that meet mission-critical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements development system architecture and design for Enterprise Information Management Systems ensuring alignment with Eagle Command contract objectives.
- Coordinate and involve stakeholders across software hardware project management security and quality domains to ensure comprehensive system solutions.
- Oversee system implementation integration and transition activities including installation operational readiness and user training.
- Develop and document transition strategies installation plans and procedures ensuring compliance with statutory regulatory and cybersecurity requirements.
- Manage risk monitor system operational readiness and proactively address technical and security challenges during system transition and sustainment.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including requirements specifications design documents and transition reports.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
- Ensure all deliverables meet contract requirements and obtain formal acceptance from internal and external stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
- TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Systems or a related technical field. Experience may be able to be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 12 years of relevant systems engineering experience including requirements development system architecture integration and transition.
- Experience supporting enterprise information management systems or similar large-scale IT environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technical projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience supporting Department of Defense or federal government contracts.
- Expertise in cybersecurity compliance and quality management processes.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. INCOSE CSEP CISSP PMP).
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and modern systems engineering tools.
