Job Description

Qualifications
Accounting / Finance background of broker-dealer entities
Legal entity financial and regulatory reporting and/or public accounting experience
Self-starter and able to perform effectively with minimal supervision

Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
Preparation of current year Balance Sheet and Income Statement business cuts going into year-end and similar cuts for prior-years to facilitate the preparation of comparative financials
Legal entity consolidation of segregate business activities (via a Branch) for all regulatory reporting including due diligence over inter-co settlement and OTC derivative and other netting
Backfill coverage for BAU legal entity control tasks (as existing SME is pulled into ad-hoc reporting/analysis)
Facilitate discussions with broader groups on transactions having potential Reg W impact (e.g. structured notes booking initial margin cost on hedging interest rate risk on Parent)

Regulatory Reporting
Support daily and monthly regulatory calculations and monthly FOCUS reporting during dual subledger period including:
o Continuous validation of source data and queries to ensure completeness of entity reporting
o Monitoring of intracompany and intercompany bookings balances and activities
