CLIENT ADVOCACY PRACTICE SUPERVISOR Background Still She Rises Inc. (SSR) provides free legal representation to pregnant women women with children or women who are child caregivers and have been brought into the criminal legal and family policing systems. Position SSR seeks a strategic compassionate and highly organized professional to serve as Supervisor in our Client Advocacy Practice. The Client Advocacy Supervisor supports the development supervision and success of Advocates who work directly with clients navigating social service and bureaucratic systems alongside their legal cases. The Client Advocacy Supervisor provides guidance mentorship and strategic oversight to ensure high-quality holistic client support that aligns with SSRs legal and advocacy goals. This position requires anticipatory and diligent leadership skills a deep understanding of trauma-informed and client-centered practice and a commitment to social and racial justice. The Supervisor will lead the development implementation and oversight of SSRs Client Advocacy Practice ensuring that Client Advocates are supported trained and positioned to provide excellent holistic service to clients. This is a leadership position ideal for a systems thinker with experience in direct service work team management and program design. The Client Advocacy Practice Supervisor works under direct supervision of the Client Advocacy Practice Leader and in collaboration with other leadership personnel. The Client Advocacy Practice Supervisor may carry a reduced caseload to accommodate responsibilities (subject to organizational needs and practice capacity). Responsibilities Supervision of Client Advocacy Practice Staff - Supervise the day-to-day work of client advocates including regular individual and group meetings monitoring caseloads help plan and strategize case and client advocacy review and edit written reports and other documents.
- Maintain high standards for client services and documentation.
- Process leave requests address challenges resolve conflicts and check-in on overall staff wellbeing
- Support staff professional development including providing regular feedback coaching staff in applying best practices.
Administrative - Reviews and tracks referrals for Client Advocacy distributes work assignments and monitors caseClient Advocacy progress.
- Consults regularly with Practice Leader and takes on additional responsibilities and directed.
- Creates annual Individualized Professional Development Plans for practice staff conducts periodic performance evaluations and reviews.
Client Advocacy (limited case load) - Staffs client teams and performs client mitigation as necessary. Including but not limited to navigating various bureaucratic processes and social service programs that our clients either elect to or are required to engage with; maintain precise records of their work and the actions or decisions made by external organizations as they relate to our clients; support attorneys in the drafting of mitigation reports.
Inter-Practice Collaboration - Consults regularly with other Practice Supervisors and Leaders to provide practice related updates brainstorm and plan group training identify patterns and issues that affect teams and clients establish goals and support other practice areas.

Qualifications - Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university. (Equivalent experience training or certifications may substitute educational requirements)
- Experience in legal advocacy case management or social service navigation
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- High emotional intelligence and cultural humility.
- Demonstrated commitment to trauma-informed client-centered work.
- Experience and skills in training supervising and leading others.
- Ability and desire to mentor assess and develop others.

- Effective empathetic and culturally competent communication
- Valid drivers license & Proof of insurance access to a working vehicle
Preferred - Knowledge of Court Systems and legal proceedings
- Knowledge of Ethical and Professional Rules of Conduct
- Knowledge of Attorney-Client Privilege and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to develop knowledge and expertise in multiple legal defense areas
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and services (Word Excel)
- Ability and desire to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams
- Experience and/or interest in working with racially and socioeconomically oppressed communities
