Job Description
The Estimating Supervisor is responsible for supervising the entire process of the Estimating Dept. This includes assisting with preparing cost estimates for project materials and construction for the company. The Estimating Supervisor ensures that deadlines and sales goals are being met by the department.
-Confer with architects contractors owners and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
-Estimating the characteristics of materials and entire estimates for use in selecting vendors and subcontractors.
-Consult with clients vendors and contractors to formulate estimates and solve issues.
-Ensure all employees are performing their assigned duties and of excellent quality.
-Estimate sizes distances resources and quantities to perform a work activity.
-High School Diploma
-Two or more years Estimating experience.
-High proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs.
-Familiarity with the Tradesoft software or a similar estimating system.
