Job Title: Hydraulic Mechanic
Diagnose inspect and troubleshoot faults in hydraulic systems pumps motors cylinders valves and related components.
Perform repairs overhauls and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and operational efficiency.
Assemble install and test hydraulic systems and components according to technical specifications and safety standards.
Replace defective parts and reassemble equipment ensuring correct alignment and calibration.
Maintain and update maintenance logs service reports and equipment records.
Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and hydraulic schematics.
Ensure all work complies with quality assurance guidelines and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other technicians engineers and supervisors to plan and prioritise repair tasks.
Provide technical support and training to junior mechanics or maintenance staff.
Stay updated with new hydraulic technologies tools and industry best practices.
Diploma/ITI/Certification in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
Proven work experience as a Hydraulic Mechanic or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems components and troubleshooting techniques.
Proficiency in reading hydraulic schematics and technical manuals.
Expertise in using diagnostic tools and measuring instruments.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Good communication skills for reporting and coordination.
Physical stamina to work in demanding environments.
