Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electric Motor Mechanic to join our growing team in Terre Haute IN. This role offers hands-on work with a variety of industrial electrical and mechanical equipment in a professional shop environment with opportunities for growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose disassemble repair rewind and test a variety of industrial AC/DC motors generators pumps gearboxes and related equipment.
- Use precision tools and equipment including multimeters high-pot testers growlers micrometers and calipers for accurate diagnostics and measurement.
- Perform failure analysis document findings and identify replacement parts following proper procedures.
- Reassemble and test equipment to OEM EASA and customer specifications.
- Perform both in-house and occasional on-site repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of troubleshooting repairs and quality inspections.
- Follow all mechanical and electrical safety practices.
Qualifications Required:
- 2 years of industrial electric motor repair experience (not automotive motors) or equivalent training (EASA/military preferred).
- Hands-on motor winding and motor mechanic experience.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic repair and testing procedures for electric motors and related equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals schematics and blueprints.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ISO 9001 knowledge or certification.
- Additional certifications in motor repair industrial maintenance or electrical safety.
