1. Sales & Business Development
- Achieve sales volume and value targets for the assigned territory.
- Identify and onboard new distributors and retail partners.
- Monitor and support existing distributors to ensure business growth and profitability.
- Plan and execute area-specific go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
- Conduct regular market visits to ensure product availability visibility and retailer engagement.
2. Channel Management
- Strengthen the distribution channel through effective relationship management.
- Ensure proper stock levels order processing and timely deliveries.
- Train and motivate distributor sales teams to improve field execution.
- Implement trade promotions and monitor their effectiveness.
3. Market Intelligence
- Track competitor activities pricing and new product launches.
- Gather insights on customer preferences market trends and channel needs.
- Provide regular feedback to management for strategic planning.
4. Reporting & Analysis
- Maintain accurate sales data and distributor performance reports.
- Forecast sales and plan stock accordingly.
- Use SRM and reporting tools to track performance metrics and KPIs.
5. Compliance & Brand Integrity
- Ensure adherence to company policies pricing guidelines and commercial terms.
- Uphold brand image through retail merchandising and POS material placement.
- Monitor distributor claims and ensure timely resolution.
Qualifications :
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field. MBA preferred.
Experience: 46 years of experience in retail/distribution sales preferably in construction materials paints tiles sanitary and cement.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of channel/distribution business.
- Negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in MS Office.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned area.
- Fluency in English and local language(s).
