Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated friendly and proactive Domestic Assistant to help us maintain a warm clean and welcoming environment for our guests and residents. If you take pride in creating a comfortable space and enjoy making a positive difference in peoples lives wed love to have you join our team!
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of bedrooms bathrooms kitchens and communal areas
- Change bed linens towels and replenish supplies as needed
- Ensure hygiene standards are met in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with laundry and linen management
- Restock consumables such as toiletries cleaning supplies and refreshments
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly
- Support with waste disposal and recycling procedures
- Provide friendly and courteous service to residents guests or staff
- Follow infection control procedures especially in care home settings
- Assist with additional tasks as directed by management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality care or cleaning roles preferred
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and infection control protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Respectful and empathetic attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings weekends or holidays
Previous kitchen or food service experience. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene. Enthusiasm for learning new skills and techniques. A genuine interest in food and presentation. Physical stamina for standing and moving during shifts.
