About the Team
You will join Linklaters Global Solutions (LGS) as a critical member of the Business Development and Marketing (BDM) team. Linklaters Global Solutions is a function delivering day-to-day transactional work essential to the smooth running of the firm and providing analysis and advisory capability to our business stakeholders lawyers and partners globally.
BDM LGS is a diverse and highly skilled team of marketing business development data and operations professionals dedicated to supporting the wider BDM function in driving revenue growth nurturing our priority client relationships and strengthening the firms reputation. Our team works on initiatives ranging from pitch creation and marketing content management to market intelligence and data analytics creative design and event coordination.

You will be responsible for
- Supporting the planning and execution of high impact events that align with firm client and sector strategies as well as global/regional marketing priorities and ensuring that all logistical arrangements are in place for events.
- Supporting regional marketing teams and events advisors with formatting event proposals budget management and handling enquiries.
- Coordinating logistical elements such as events catering transportation shipping registration accommodation printing invoice processing signage audio/visual setup etc.
- Handling hospitality enquiries and making bookings as required and according to firm policy ensuring adequate approvals are in place.
- Coordinating event invitations and registration.
- Owning and managing events as required and ensuring they are planned and executed in accordance with firm-wide policies and branding guidelines.
- Supporting the running of events by providing virtual or in-person support (international travel may be required).
- Following guidance to prepare reports regarding client attendance registration numbers key marketing measures and any necessary feedback to propose new ideas to improve event planning and delivery.
- Ensuring that central systems and databases are kept up to date with upcoming events.
Apply if you
- Have experience in coordinating and managing events preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Demonstrate ability to handle all aspects of event logistics from supplier management and venue selection to day-of execution.
- Have experience in budget management and cost negotiation for events.
- Strong track record of successful collaboration with various stakeholders to design and execute events aligned with strategic objectives.
- Have experience tracking and analysing event metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Are knowledgeable of industry trends and best practices in corporate event management.
- Are familiar with event registration systems and event management technologies.
- Have strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Are an effective communicator with ability to interact professionally with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Are fluent in English both verbally and in writing (C1 or C2 level).
- Have experience with virtual and hybrid event formats (a plus).
