Job Description

The Securities Services Operations Associate is a part of the Trust & Custody Operations team that supports the Corporate Trust Private Wealth and Institutional Custody divisions. Within the Operations environment this team interacts with various internal partners to evaluate and process requests that could include deposit or withdrawals of assets from our securities vault Fast bonds OI filing Legal filing or other filing requests.

The Securities Services Operations Associates have a specific and impactful function for our clients and UMB to ensure accurate processing. The Trust Operations associates are the subject matter expert in operational processes for our clients and internal partners.

You will analyze reports process filing requests support pulling documentation for audit and follow department document retention policies within secure areas. You are also cross trained amongst other team members responsibilities for backup when needed. You can expect a fast-paced environment with unpredictable scenarios while maintaining flexibility and adaptability to client needs. Our Securities Services Operations Associates are motivated to be self-driven and enjoy the challenge of learning new skills while controlling their career progression.

The Trust Operations team is about creating strong connections amongst its associates to develop and maintain a positive working experience. Associates are supported and encouraged to work with their manager to develop roadmaps for opportunities within Operations and beyond.

  • How youll spend your time:
  • You will perform various filing requests and be able to process data accurately within deadlines
  • You will use your communication skills to provide a broad level of assistance during testing of system upgrades or implementation of new systems.
  • You will need strong communication skills when interacting with our internal partners.
  • You will need to have strong attention to detail to ensure filing is done correctly and our systems are accurately reflected.

  • You possess a high school degree or equivalent

Bonus points if you:

  • 2 years office experience
  • College course work in finance economics or accounting

Compensation Range:

$29530.00 - $56950.00

The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMBs standard for this role but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location experience level and other job-related addition this range does not encompass the full earning potential for this role.
