About the Business:
Sporting the dual crown of Australias oldest dairy and Australias most innovative dairy Brownes Dairy has an opportunity within our Logistics Department as a Transport Distribution and 3PL (Third Party Logistics) Manager.
Community is at the heart of what we do as we collect over 120 million litres of milk each year from more than 40 dairy farming families located in WAs pristine Southwest region. All our Brownes Dairy products are made in WA. Our CEO is from WA too. The Role
This role will be key to ensuring our continuity of success as Australias oldest Dairy. You will plan and execute improvements for our integrated logistics and supply strategy distributor network and 3PL partnerships focusing on efficient cost-effective and timely service delivery.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the Transport logistics function including transport operations regional depots warehousing and bulk logistics
- Manage the distributor network across WA and the East Coast ensuring service excellence
- Oversee and evaluate all 3PL partnerships to ensure alignment to our business strategy and KPIs
- Stakeholder management both internally and externally
- Contract management for all providers including negotiation and legal compliance
- Foster staff engagement focussing on career development and staff engagement
- Lead HSE awareness campaigns and incident management processes for employees and third parties
Requirements:
- Tertiary level qualification in Supply Chain Logistics or Transport
- Strong experience in a logistics and transport role within FMCG
- Demonstrated experience in cost optimisation strategy
- Experience managing 3PL and distributor networks
