Job Description
Hourly Pay Range:
$57.69 - $75.77 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidates expertise and years of experience among other factors.Position Highlights:
Position: Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant
Location:NCH Hospital 800 W Central Ave Arlington Heights IL
Inpatient rounding clinic and OR responsibilities
Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time 40 hours per week
Hours: Monday - Friday between 7:00am and 4:30p.m.
No Weekends No Evenings No Call
Required Travel: N/A
What you will need:
License: Physician Assistant (PA) Licensure in the State of IL required; Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License required
Education: Completion of Masters level program in specialty area
Certification: BLS/CPR certification required
Experience: Prior APN/PA surgery experience required
What you will do:
Provide comprehensive health assessments differential diagnosis and prescribe treatments under the protocol in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease
Promote wellness and prevent illness and injury in various settings for individuals families and communities
Work autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams as resources and consultants
Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
