You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Solution Director will contribute in defining our infrastructure solutions products and services roadmaps focused on compute and storage building blocks integrated racks and liquid cooling solutions as part of our Communications Enterprise and Cloud (CEC) business group. This role can be based in Austin TX or Remote.
In this role you will be responsible for defining and managing the product lifecycle of high-performance modular hardware platforms and cooling systems designed for hyperscale enterprise and telecom data center customers. You will lead efforts in defining requirements coordinating cross-functional execution and driving innovation and competitiveness in our product portfolio. You will interface with internal engineering manufacturing and supply chain teams as well as external customers and partners.
What a Typical Day Looks Like:
Own the product lifecycle from concept through end-of-life for data center racks building blocks (servers storage nodes etc.) and liquid cooling infrastructure.
Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to define and develop product architectures that meet evolving customer and industry needs.
Lead the development of product roadmaps aligned with CECs business objectives and key market trends.
Translate customer feedback market trends and technology roadmaps into compelling product requirements.
Work closely with sales business development and marketing to position products effectively and support customer engagement strategies.
Perform market and competitive analysis to identify strategic opportunities and threats.
Engage directly with hyperscale and cloud customers to gather insights and shape product strategies.
Coordinate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure manufacturability cost optimization and high-quality delivery.
Manage and monitor key product metrics such as adoption revenue gross margin and customer satisfaction.
Support Flexs sustainability goals by driving energy-efficient and thermally optimized product solutions.
The Experience Were Looking to Add to Our Team:
Bachelors degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline; Masters degree or MBA is a plus.
5 years of experience in product management within the Data Center High-Performance Computing (HPC) or Enterprise IT industry.
Deep understanding of rack-level integration modular systems and liquid or advanced thermal management technologies.
Proven track record in bringing hardware products from ideation through launch and sustaining.
Ability to synthesize technical details into customer value propositions and business impact.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across diverse global teams.
Strong analytical skills with an ability to use data to support product decisions and trade-offs.
Familiarity with industry standards (e.g. OCP ASHRAE) and regulatory environments related to data center infrastructure is a plus.
Passion for innovation sustainability and building next-generation infrastructure solutions.
