Start Your Career with Purpose Passion & Style!Are you currently enrolled in a cosmetology program and eager to get real-world experience in a vibrant supportive salon environment Revitalize U Med Spa & Salon is looking for an enthusiastic Stylist Intern to join our team! This hands-on opportunity is designed to give you practical experience mentorship and a direct path to becoming an Associate Stylist within 6 months.
What Youll Do:
Assist senior stylists with shampooing blowouts basic styling and salon prep
Create a welcoming experience for every guest who walks through our doors
Help maintain salon cleanliness and support daily operations
Observe and participate in color services styling techniques and consultations
Learn the ins and outs of working in a fast-paced high-end salon
What Were Looking For:
Current enrollment in an accredited cosmetology program with graduation in the next 6 months.
A passion for the beauty industry and hunger to learn
Positive attitude reliability and professionalism
Availability to work evenings and Saturdays a plus!

Monday: 12:00 pm 8:00 pm
TuesdayThursday: 8:00 am 8:00 pm
FridaySaturday: 9:00 am 5:00 pm

Position Summary
The Stylist Intern supports the salon team by assisting with hair services maintaining salon cleanliness and developing skills under licensed professionals. This role is designed for cosmetology students currently enrolled in school who are passionate about starting a career in beauty. The intern will gain hands-on experience with the goal of transitioning into an Associate Stylist role within 612 months based on performance and licensure.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist licensed stylists with services such as shampooing blow drying and basic styling.
- Provide exceptional guest service and help create a welcoming salon environment.
- Prepare stations and sanitize tools following safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness of salon areas throughout the day.
- Participate in training opportunities and team meetings.
- Observe and learn color applications styling techniques and client consultations.
- Support salon events and promotional activities as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited cosmetology program.
- Basic understanding of salon services and operations.
- Strong interest in a long-term career in hair styling and cosmetology.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Drivers license and proof of liability insurance required.
- Knowledge of industry-specific health and safety regulations.
- Awareness of current trends in the beauty and wellness industry.
- Proficient computer skills.

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

- Bending reaching kneeling and squatting.
- Ability to work in an environment with strong scents.
Additional Eligibility Requirements
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Successful completion of reference checks.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Hours for this position may vary between operating hours listed below:
- Monday 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Tuesday through Thursday 8:00 am 8:00 pm
- Friday and Saturday 9:00 am 5:00 pm
