Aftermarket Operations has an exciting opportunity for an aspiring VP MRO who is wanting to join a fast paced challenging and dynamic environment and lead a global cross-functional team responsible for management of a portfolio of Joint Ventures Customer Owned MRO shops and Authorised Maintenance centres for Trent products .
The role has been designed so the VP MRO leads the relationship with the Overhaul Bases. The successful candidate will own the operational and in contract commercial relationship with the Overhaul Bases facilitate multiple internal and external relationships and be able to develop and enact strategies to deliver internal commitments. As a VP MRO you will work with the Overhaul Bases to ensure we have optimised our cost and capacity opportunities across the network.
Key Accountabilities:
Supplier Relationships responsible for the effective day to day in-contract supplier relationship management and operational performance of partners and suppliers across Quality Cost and Delivery KPIs including leading Business Reviews and other multi-level governance reviews involving supplier line and internal functions.
Cost Management demonstrate cost control within each of the bases and lead short/medium term cost improvement plans with designated suppliers. Understand supplier cost structures and processes and be responsible for achievement of contractual cost standards and identification of systemic issues leading to cost reduction of shop visits.
Quality Cost and Delivery Responsible for the global quality cost and delivery performance of the external supply chain and the resolution of any performance related issues. Roll out and execution of Integrated Services Scorecard Systemics trend understanding and facilitating resolution with other functions
Stakeholder management Nurture effective relationships with multiple stakeholders both internal and external to the function in order to integrate functional priorities for example working with Project Team Readiness Team Programme Management Operations Planning teams and Engineering.
Programme Management Lead the deployment of NPI activities in designated suppliers along with rate ramp up and TRT reduction programmes and relevant campaigns. Support the deployment of risk management practices to assess communicate and mitigate supply chain risks
Resource Management provide cross functional leadership for recruitment line management and capability development of supplier management team members
Planning lead SORB processes with suppliers by understanding rate capability TRT and rate ramp up and supplier strategy plans for all products. Support internal planning processes for integrated overview of the network
Strategy support the development and deployment of relevant integrated supplier/commodity/category strategies and will provide inputs based on supply chain operational performance
Procurement supporting Procurement and Commercial Teams in contract management activities
