Job Description

Fixed Term Contract (12 Months) Full Time
37 hours per week (Monday Friday Flexibility Negotiable)

At Thrive Homes were committed to delivering high-quality customer-focused housing services and were looking for an outstanding leader to head up our Homeownership and Management Partnerships function.

This is a unique opportunity for a strategic performance-driven professional with deep expertise in homeownership leasehold and service charge management and the leadership of partner-managed housing services with 3rd parties.

You will lead and inspire high-performing teams to provide excellent service to leaseholders shared owners freeholders and Market Rent customers. Youll ensure our service charges are transparent well-managed and compliant for all Thrive customers and youll take ownership of the financial and operational performance of your area.

Youll also be responsible for the oversight and delivery of housing management services being provided on behalf of partner organisations building strong collaborative relationships that are contractually sound and strategically aligned.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Leading the Homeownership team to drive efficient compliant and customer-focused services to homeowners and leaseholders.

  • Overseeing the accurate setting audit management and recovery of service charges across all tenures.

  • Ensuring compliance with current and upcoming leasehold legislation and best practice initiatives in homeownership services.

  • Managing third-party housing management partnerships monitoring KPIs contractual obligations and service performance both internally and externally.

  • Driving a culture of accountability customer service excellence and continuous improvement across your team.

  • Working cross-functionally to enhance the homeowner journey satisfaction integration of all procedures and align services with Thrives wider strategic objectives.

  • Driving service improvements across all areas and delivering Housing Management system upgrades when required

  • Overseeing the Market Rent Team leading on regular reporting to Board and Leading the successful management of residential portfolios subject to 3rd party agreements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading leasehold homeownership or service charge functions in a social housing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory standards including service charge accounting and leasehold management.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder and partner relationships including contract performance and negotiation.

  • A leadership style that inspires trust motivates teams and encourages professional development.

  • A strategic mindset with strong operational oversight and customer service instincts.
