Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead product development for new and existing home textile ranges (Table linen curtains cushions kitchen textiles etc.).
- Coordinate with design sampling sourcing and merchandising teams for concept to final product execution.
- Work closely with international buyers (like JYSK Action Aldi etc.) to understand product requirements price targets and seasonal trends.
- Source new fabrics trims and value-addition techniques (printing embroidery special finishes).
- Develop mood boards colour stories and collection presentations as per buyer direction.
- Ensure timely execution of sample development and approvals.
- Evaluate costing and work closely with costing team for product feasibility.
- Keep updated on global textile trends sustainable materials and compliance standards.
- Participate in buyer meetings as needed.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelors/Master s degree in Textile Technology / Fashion / Design / related field.
- 5 years of experience in product development in the home textile export industry.
- More knowledges in yarn fabric weaving technique costing knowledge etc.
- Strong understanding of global market trends and buyer preferences.
- Excellent communication skills (spoken & written English).
- Proficient in MS Office Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop is an advantage.
- Knowledge of sustainability standards and certifications (OEKO-TEX GOTS etc.) is preferred.
