A well-established and respected public accounting firm in Fredericton New Brunswickis seeking an experienced Manager Accounting & Advisory to join their growing team. This is a full-time in-office position. The firm offers a collaborative environment a diverse client base including owner-managed businesses and not-for-profit organizations and a strong commitment to professional excellence and client success.
As Manager you will take on a leadership role in overseeing assurance and tax engagements developing strong client relationships and mentoring a team of professionals. Youll work closely with senior leadership to ensure exceptional service delivery and contribute to the continued success and growth of the firm.
Key Responsibilities for the Job:
- Lead and review audit review and compilation engagements
- Manage corporate and personal tax compliance and planning
- Act as the main point of contact for clients; build lasting relationships
- Supervise and mentor junior and intermediate team members
- Oversee multiple engagements ensuring budgets timelines and client expectations are met
- Keep current with changes to ASPE ASNPO and Canadian tax regulations
- Identify opportunities for added value and business development
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and internal quality controls
Experience & Attributes for Success:
- 5 years of experience in public accounting including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity
- CPA designation in good standing is preferred
- Previous experience working with not-for-profits is an asset
- Software proficiency ideally in CaseWare QuickBooks Online Sage Xero and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven leadership communication and client service skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
