Job Summary

While this role begins as a temporary overnight assignment there is the possibility to remain on with our team in a PRN (as-needed) capacity for future shifts. Examples of Job Responsibilities:
- Remain awake alert and attentive throughout the overnight shift.
- Monitor client(s) for safety mobility and comfort.
- Provide assistance with toileting repositioning or other personal care needs during the night.
- Offer companionship and reassurance if the client becomes restless anxious or wakes up.
- Maintain a calm and supportive environment redirecting and de-escalating if necessary.
- Document nightly observations and care notes accurately
- Assist with non-medical care needs including normal aging challenges and hospital recovery
- Communicate promptly with the office about incidents changes in condition or concerns.
- Follow the client care plan and provide updates as needed
Examples of Job Qualifications:
- Memory care is a preferred
- Prior experience in caregiving personal care home care assisted living or healthcare preferred.
- Ability to remain awake and attentive for the duration of the shift.
- Compassionate patient and professional demeanor.
- Detail Oriented
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Proficient communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned
- Be willing to work in Frederick Carroll counties and the surrounding areas
