As a Solutions Engineer at Fonoa you will collaborate with leading global enterprises and work cross-functionally to identify and solve complex customer challenges. You will lead technical engagements leveraging your discovery expertise to design and implement high-value solutions tailored to our clients partnership with our sales team you will ensure the delivery of impactful and effective solutions driving success for both our customers and Fonoa.
We have a suite of API and UI products that automate tax-related workflows for any internet company. Those products are Lookup Tax Returns Data sharing and E-Invoicing.
We may expand our coverage to serve our core offering.

Please visit our API documentation and learn more about our API endpoints and how to use them - you will do Partner with our Sales team to articulate the Fonoa value proposition vision and strategy to customers. Create and deliver product and technical presentations to new and existing customers. Qualify sales opportunities through technical discovery based on needs and problems with customers. Be an expert in Fonoas API capabilities advocate for improvements and influence the product roadmap with internal product teams to solve business challenges. Drive technical discussions with customers answering questions and providing guidance on technical features and integration. Own technical scoping gap analysis and technical implementation plans. Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation within the organisation. You are comfortable supporting customers on technical issues where necessary. You are extremely organised and apply a methodical approach to delivery. Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) 4 years of experience in a Sales Engineering Solutions Engineering Pre-Sales or similar customer-facing technical role Demonstrated ability to work directly with customers to understand business needs and technical requirements Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product Engineering and Sales teams Ability to explain technical products and concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences including clients and internal stakeholders Experience presenting and communicating to C-suite executives in partnership with Sales or Account teams Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in complex or evolving problem spaces including unfamiliar domains such as tax compliance or FinTech Ability to prioritize customer needs while balancing product capabilities and company goals Practical Knowledge of RESTful APIs and Webhooks Experience working in a high-growth startup or scaling B2B SaaS environment Background in technical consulting implementation or developer support roles Experience in low code/no-code and software development concepts Fonoa is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $185K-$230K commission equity benefits and represents Fonoas good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to the candidates years of experience qualifications relevant skill set certifications and geographic office location. Pay ranges may vary in different regions based on local market conditions and cost of labor.
