Senior Business Analyst
About the role:
This position is responsible for working closely and engaging with stakeholders to understand the business intentions services processes information needs and requirements to inform solutions design development and implementation to meet business objectives. The role manages develops and documents quality solutions that deliver scalable integration solutions that meet immediate needs as well as long-term strategic objectives for the organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Analyse complex and multifaceted business processes to recommend integrated solutions that deliver business value and meet the organisations immediate needs and long-term strategic objectives.
- Investigate and document workflows to understand processes and identify technology solution requirements based on stated business requirements specify effective data flow relative to stated business processes and determine options/impacts for new and existing solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement by researching products and best practices to bolster the technology services including integration options & identifying opportunities.
- Provide expert advice by analysing existing systems applications and functions to draw business-relevant conclusions and ensure business objectives are identified.
- Provide expert advice and information on technical integration and architectural services issues to assist with specifying business requirements and scopes of work for new or existing solutions.
- Prepare documentation and articulate business processes to develop integrated standards for programming tools and techniques and provide advice and guidance to ensure consistency in applied methodologies.
- Contribute analysis expertise to support and guide business processes work for assigned areas including creation
- Work collaboratively in leading and participating in an agile development process utilizing industry standard tools for issue tracking version control code deployment and maintaining oversight of requirements management processes ensuring deliverables effectively tie to initial business intentions and objectives.
- Stay current with customer needs and strategies; utilise formal and informal written communication methods to communicate updates and findings.
- Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and managing customer and supplier relationships.
The Successful Candidate:
- Strong experience in Stakeholder management
- Experience as a technical business analyst working on projects based on Agile and thewaterfall model. Preferred - Industry certification in Project Management Scrum or PMBOK
- Familiarity with DevOps practices like Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD)
- Technology stack M365 apps specifically MS Project and Visio Azure DevOps and/or JIRA and Confluence
- Data Reporting with - Power BI(Basic understanding)
