Job Description
McGavock Nissan Lubbock Snack Bar Attendant: Must be able to work Saturdays!
The Snackbar Attendant in the service area of our car dealership plays a vital role in ensuring a pleasant and comfortable experience for our customers while they wait for their vehicles. This position involves preparing and serving a variety of snacks beverages and light refreshments as well as maintaining a clean and inviting snack area. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills a friendly demeanor and the ability to multitask efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist with snack and beverage selections.
- Prepare and serve a variety of snacks beverages and light refreshments.
- Ensure the snack bar area is clean well-stocked and organized at all times.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system accurately.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary food preparation area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking to management.
- Provide information about snack options and address customer inquiries or special requests.
- Work collaboratively with service staff to ensure a positive customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and operating a point-of-sale system.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Work Environment: The Snack bar Attendant will work in the service area of the car dealership which may involve standing for extended periods and interacting with customers throughout the day. A positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to enhance the customer experience are essential for success in this role.
