Job summary:
The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of Bvlgaris Ginza Bar & Dolci operations in Tokyo and Osaka. This encompasses the Bvlgari Tokyo Ginza Bar & Dolci Il Caff - Osaka and Il role ensures the seamless operation financial success and brand alignment of all three business units. The General Manager provides strategic direction leveraging their experience in luxury hospitality and business acumen to deliver unparalleled guest experiences and navigate a complex stakeholder environment. The position is based in the Ginza Tower a landmark destination since 2007.

- Bvlgari Tokyo Ginza Bar & Dolci: Situated on the 9th and 10th floors of the Ginza Tower the Bvlgari Tokyo Ginza Bar & Dolci unveiled in 2025 represents the reimagined dining experience of Bvlgari. Created under the guidance of three-Michelin-starred Chef Niko Romito the restaurants offers a contemporary Italian sensibility with Eastern attention to detail. The Bvlgari Afternoon Tea is a signature offering. The Ginza Bar & Dolci also include the intimate Lounge on the 8th floor and rooftop La Terrazza on the 11th floor offering diverse settings for guests to enjoy the Bvlgari lifestyle.
- Il Caff - Osaka: Located within the Umeda Hankyu department store in Osaka Il Caff is Bvlgaris only caf expressing a timeless style with contemporary design. Adjacent to the Bvlgari jewelry and watch shop Il Caff provides a refined ambiance for enjoying unparalleled moments in a luxurious yet informal environment offering Bvlgaris bespoke service and an exclusive lifestyle experience.
- Il Cioccolato: Il Cioccolato offers handmade chocolates crafted with the same attention to detail that goes into all Bvlgari masterpieces. These chocolate gems incorporate seasonal often locally sourced ingredients to create nuanced complex flavors. Many are exclusive to Japan and are impeccably packaged making them sophisticated gifts for holidays hosts or any occasion. Il Cioccolato emphasizes the artistry and exclusivity associated with the Bvlgari brand.
A significant portion of Il Cioccolatos revenue approximately 65% is generated during Valentines Day. To capitalize on this peak demand around 20 pop-up stores are opened throughout Japan. A key duty of the General Manager is to ensure production targets are met in alignment with sales forecasts and to oversee logistics and e-commerce operations to maximize revenue particularly in preparation for Valentines Day.

- Financial Performance:
- Develop and manage annual budgets financial forecasts and performance reports.
- Monitor financial performance identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Maximize revenue generation and profitability through effective pricing strategies cost control measures and sales initiatives.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit train and manage a high-performing team across all business units.

- Stakeholder Management and Coordination:
- Effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders including Bvlgari Headquarters Bvlgari Japan and Marriott (if applicable depending on the operational structure).
- Coordinate activities and initiatives across different departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and synergy.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on business performance and key initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in luxury hospitality management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a multi-unit business.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets P&L statements and financial forecasts.
