This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and students who have a strong interest in engineering within an industrial environment.
What we are looking for:
- Recent graduate or current students pursuing a bachelors degree in engineering or wood sciences. Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical electrical or civil drawings.
- Familiarity with Microsoft tools: Excel Word Outlook etc.
- Basic AutoCAD knowledge
- Experience with AutoCAD LT is a plus.
- Engineering or industrial experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
- Possess strong process analytical and data analysis skills; simplify complex situations identify key issues problem solve. Sound decision-making abilities
In this role you will:
- Digitalize engineering drawings datasheets manuals and OEM documentation.
- Identify classify and assign names to files following provided conventions.
- Locate and organize files in shared network folders for easy access.
- Collaborate with team members to remove information barriers.
- Work independently while managing time effectively to complete tasks.
- Develop and present weekly progress reports to vested team members.
- Utilize printers/plotters scanners shared folders and AutoCAD to perform tasks.
- No Travel the position will mostly be in an office environment with occasional trips onto the floor to retrieve materials or equipment information
