Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services for Morgan Stanley supporting all business applications and end users. ETS provides capabilities for all stages of Morgan Stanleys software development lifecycle enabling productive coding functional and integration testing application releases and ongoing monitoring and support for over 3000 production applications. ETS also delivers all workplace technologies (desktop mobile voice video productivity intranet/internet) in integrated configurations that boost the personal productivity of employees. Application and end user functions are delivered on a scalable secure and reliable infrastructure composed of seamlessly integrated datacenter network compute cloud storage and database functions.

Architecture & Modernization Drives development of the global firm strategy to define modern architectures and guardrails to reduce legacy debt while partnering with app dev to accelerate the adoption of modern capabilities

What youll do in the role:

• Forefront of the AI journey with applications such as Genome that use AI to provide better personalized advice to our clients. Generative AI provides further unique opportunities to provide new capabilities to the firms internal users as well as our clients.

• Engages with internal clients who present a wide range of use cases for agentic and non-agentic GenAI applications.

• AI Agent Development: design and develop agentic AI solutions that meet performance and reliability requirements and are deployed into our agentic architectural systems.

• Collaboration: work effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams throughout the governance and engineering organizations to bring agentic solutions to production.

• Governance: stay current with evolving governance processes and groups working with them to progress agentic solutions through to production.

• Innovation: stay current with a broad rapidly evolving technical landscape and integrate new approaches into our solutions where and as feasible.

• Communication: produce high quality documentation as required for reporting oversight and SDLC / engineering purposes. Assist in the preparation of materials for presentation to our broader organization and present these materials to our own team and the broader organization.

• Knowledge Sharing: stay abreast of technical approaches being applied by other AI application and platform teams and share our own work to help ensure the best practices and technologies are incorporated across our AI organizations.

What youll bring to the role:

• Involves agentic AI engineering with a secondary focus on working with governance and agentic architecture and platform teams on approvals needed for the agentic solutions to integrate into our firmwide agentic frameworks.

• You will have experience in developing AI or AI/ML applications. Demonstrate history of rapid upskilling into new technologies will be favorably considered.

• Strong communication skills particularly in areas where complex technical topics are communicated with less technical or technically specialized stakeholders.

• Experience with governance compliance and solution engineering conforming to firmwide agentic architectures is a strong positive.
