About the Opportunity
Join our clients thriving litigation department where our busy team is hitting capacity and ready to expand! Were seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to work within our dynamic team of 5 Senior Litigation Solicitors and 2 trainees handling a diverse mix of commercial and civil litigation matters.
The Role
Youll be joining a well-established and successful litigation department that has grown significantly due to client demand. This role offers excellent variety working on both commercial disputes and civil litigation matters providing you with broad exposure and the opportunity to develop expertise across multiple areas of law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a varied caseload of commercial and civil litigation matters
- Manage cases from inception through to resolution
- Conduct advocacy at court hearings and tribunals
- Draft legal documents pleadings and correspondence
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients
- Work collaboratively within our busy litigation team
- Mentor and support trainee solicitors where appropriate
What Were Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor with litigation experience (2 years PQE preferred)
- Strong knowledge of civil procedure and commercial law
- Excellent advocacy and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload effectively
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Client-focused approach with excellent relationship-building abilities
- Ambition to develop within a growing department
