Role: Program Manager
Duration: Long term contract
Location: Remote with occasional onsite at Trenton NJ
Role Summary: Manages the day-to-day coordination and delivery of all drafting assignments under Mini-Bid requests ensuring alignment with project timelines and stakeholder expectations
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and interpret Mini-Bid requests assign workstreams to appropriate team members.
- Monitor timelines and ensure timely delivery of initial and final drafts.
- Facilitate communication between State agency contacts and internal drafting teams.
- Ensure that each document aligns with defined policy goals and review criteria.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in public policy Health Administration Public Administration or a related field. A masters degree (e.g. MPA MPH MBA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in project or program management including at least 5 years managing public sector or healthcare-related consulting engagements.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing drafting review and submission of Medicaid-related policy documents including State Plan Amendments waiver proposals and federal deliverables.
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams coordinate cross-functional assignments and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
- Strong understanding of Medicaid CHIP and relevant CMS regulations and documentation standards.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to interface with state agency leadership technical writers and subject matter experts.
- Proficiency in project tracking tools (e.g. MS Project Smartsheet) and document management systems.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent project management certification
