Eastern Standard: Front of House Support
Overview of Concept:
The Bower plaza in the Fenway is home to three concepts from ES Hospitality - Eastern Standard reopened after 15 years in Kenmore Square Equal Measure a craft cocktail bar and Standard Italian a modern Italian restaurant. These concepts helmed by Garrett Harker serve brunch lunch dinner and late-night drinks to neighborhood visitors BU students and faculty residents and restaurant industry professionals alike.
About The Position:
Eastern Standard is seeking a candidate for a front of house support role who is eager to work in a dynamic restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and thrive in a fast-paced setting. As a front of house support you will wear a variety of hats from bussing to drink running to food running. You will be integral to the guest experience; ensuring that food and drinks go out to guests smoothly accurately and efficiently and that tables are bussed and reset throughout the service. In order to be successful in this role you must:
Arrive to each shift on time and ready to hit the ground running
Commit to continuous development of food menu knowledge in order to be able to properly describe dishes to guests and answer food related questions
Possess a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask
Have full weekend availability
