The role
As a Project Officer youll be a key contributor to developing and delivering impactful projects including operational policy and procedure development and legislative reform within established objectives. Youll manage project activities to deliver quality results on time support decisions with clear documentation and engage stakeholders effectively.

Clear communication and strong collaboration will be key to achieving meaningful outcomes in a fast-paced environment where youll handle challenges with care especially those affecting Aboriginal peoples and communities.

You will have the opportunity to support the capability of senior leaders across the sector through projects aimed at:

  • Building partnerships between senior leaders and Aboriginal staff within the NSW Public Sector to build cultural capability and enable Aboriginal outcomes sector wide.
  • Enabling our people to get out on Country to feel express and experience culture in Aboriginal communities the place-based cultural immersion.
  • Equipping our Directors with the knowledge leadership skills and practical tools to effectively drive Aboriginal outcomes and create meaningful change within their portfolios.

What you will bring to the role:

Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples communities and entities.
