Apprentice Pump Technician-Full Time-Carrum DownsAustralia

We are looking for anApprentice Pump Technician to join our FEWIBU team in Australia . This role will work alongside one of our experienced service technicians and will require regular travel to customers to support flow service requirements.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Assisting service and repair installation and maintenance of pumps mixers and other associated equipment for all Sulzer customers within Australia and New Zealand.
- Attends designated work sites to help carry out maintenance and inspection of equipment at waste water pump stations treatment works clean water distribution networks and desalination plants etc
- Assists with collection and delivery of all repaired pumps and pumping equipment to and from the Customers site to the local Service Centres
- Works in conjunction with the sales team to help maximize pump sales
- Attending all theory sections of the apprenticeship and complete E-Profiling.
- General house-keeping duties.
- Travel to Sulzers Service Centre in Laverton as require to complete any practical training as required.
- Report to Mentors.
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Work experience or expressed interest in mechanical rotating equipment particularly pumps
- Valid drivers license
- Attention to detail
- High level of communication skills.
- Good level of time management.
- Completion of Secondary School Year 10/11/12.
