Behavioral Health Technician - Outpatient

Per Diem

What you will do in this role:

  • Responsible for conducting functional analyses of patient behavior participating as a member of the treatment team contributing to the Master Treatment Plan and implementing appropriate interventions from the plan.
  • Conducts individual and group psycho-education leisure activities and life-skill training and coaching for all patients.
  • Responsible for safety monitoring of patients and of the unit.
  • Transport patients to/from the facility via van.

Qualifications:

  • High school degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility with direct experience working with chemical dependency dual diagnosis psychiatric and geriatric
  • patients preferred.
  • Will require valid drivers license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) along with proof of insurance when using personal or hospital owned vehicle.
  • CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
    Must be at least 21 years of age.
