Job Role:Supported Housing Worker

Salary: 22543.27 per year (full time equivalent 25235)

Hours: 33.5 hours per week

Contract type: Permanent

Location: Exeter

Additional information:

  • Participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota

The Role:

Join our Exeter Supported Housing Service as a Supported Housing Worker where youll play a key role in helping clients maintain safe accommodation manage personal finances and access multi-agency support.

Youll work with individuals facing complex challengessuch as trauma mental health issues and substance misuseempowering them to build resilience and move towards independent living. With 11 supported units across Exeter youll help ensure high standards of safety effective referrals and meaningful progress for each client.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Delivering direct support and housing management services to clients
  • Building strong partnerships with local agencies
  • Keeping client records accurate clear and up to date
  • Tracking referrals into the service
  • Creating a safe supportive and empowering environment that promotes personal growth and sustainable move-on

Since job descriptions cannot be exhaustive the post holder may be required to undertake other duties which are broadly in line with the above key responsibilities

What Were Looking For:

  • Experience working with people who may have complex needs and/or challenging behaviours
  • Understanding of the causes of homelessness and social exclusion and the approaches which seek to address these
