This position is based in the following office location:
Manchester NHThe opportunity
The Communications Department at Southern New Hampshire University is looking for candidates for an Instructor of Communications. Reporting to the Dean of the School of Arts Sciences and Education this is a full-time on-site position at the Manchester New Hampshire campus and will being for the fall 2025 semester. You will bring your own communications industry experiences into the classroom to engage students and lead them toward roles in the industry.
What youll do:
- Prepare and deliver content for assigned courses including introductory intermediate and advanced courses. The teaching load is four 3-credit courses per term. Class sessions are either 75 minutes meeting twice a week or 150 minutes that meet once a week.
- Assess student work and provide feedback.
- Coach in a studio environment where students may work in teams on real-world projects.
- Use a Learning Management System to support courses and host course materials.
- Hold five hours of office hours throughout the week. Hours for class prep and student assessment are expected to make up the balance of the full-time load.
- Conduct original scholarship and provide institutional service.

- A Bachelors degree in communications or related field.
- Demonstrated industry experience
- Practical knowledge of public speaking and communications skills

Compensation
The annual pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $85000.00. Actual offer will be based on experience skills degree discipline and other business and organizational needs.Exceptional benefits (because youre exceptional)
