PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Lead Tire Dealer IT Support will provide leadership and direction to a group of IT professionals responsible for operations and support activities and some technical projects. The main objective is to provide support for our POS/ERP solution for Tire Dealers and Garages. This role combines strong leadership technical expertise and customer-focused thinking to drive high-quality service team development and operational excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES (DUTIES) OF POSITION:
- Plan coordinate schedule assignments and projects with subordinates and participate in establishing tactical plans.
- Perform managerial activities such as hiring performance management processes associate development department staffing budgeting communicate and enforce policies and procedures.
- Determine specific resources and skills required for on-going activities and provide leadership to staff all projects within area of responsibility.
- Ensure that IT operation standards processes and procedures are executed.
- Monitor project development and communicate project progression frequently to upper management staff and customers.
- Be able to foster a high-performance collaborative team environment by mentoring coaching and supporting individual growth and development.
RELEVANT TECHNICAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE PERTAINING TO POSITION:
- Good knowledge of IT field and good knowledge & technical expertise of Business Software and ERP solutions. Expertise of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (also known as Navision or NAV) nice to have but not mandatory.
- Intermediate knowledge of management principles.
- Preferable experience with Retail Business and Processes towards private and smaller commercial End-Consumers.
- Preferable experience with Tire and Automotive industry in the area of Sales and Marketing.
- Have the necessary leadership team building motivation and delegation skills to efficiently coordinate the efforts of a team toward accomplishing a common goal.
- Can inspire team commitment and enthusiasm. Has knowledge of creative means to recognize team and individual accomplishments.
- Good presentation skills and meeting leadership and facilitation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
EDUCATION:
- Solid education the field of IT/Computer Science and/or Business Administration and Processes.
EXPERIENCE:
- 10 years of experience in the field of translating Business requirements into Digital solutions.
- 3-5 years experience in project management / leadership roles for major development or operations projects.
- Demonstrated successful experience in developing efficient and effective solutions to business problems.
- Experience managing or working closely with customer-facing support teams ensuring timely issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
