JOB DESCRIPTION:
Foreign trade Zone Administrator Casa Grande AZ
TheForeign Trade Zone (FTZ)AdministratorisresponsibleforensuringsitecompliancewithFTZregulationsmanagingactiveinventorywithinthezoneandfacilitatingtradeactivities.The FTZ AdministratoroverseesallaspectsofFTZoperationsinteractingwithinternalteamsexternalpartnersandU.S.Customs. The FTZ Administrator participates in regulatory visits and audits as well as maintains all records pertaining to the zone.

This position works out of our Casa Grande Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. What Youll Work On
EnsurebusinesscompliancetoFTZregulations U.S.CustomsandBorderProtection (CBP)regulationsandotherrelevanttradelaws.
OverseedistributionandinventorycontrolofgoodswithintheFTZincludingmaintainingrecordsandreconcilingbothrawmaterialandfinishedgoodsinventory.
EnsureallrecommendationsfromCustomsareadheredtowhilethezoneisactiveaswellasupholdanyAbbottpolicies.
PrepareandsubmitCustomsformsannualreportsandothersupportingdocumentation.
FacilitaterecurringFTZbusinessupdatemeetingswithinternalandexternalstakeholdersmaintainingclearactionitemsfollowupsandmeetingminutes.
CommunicateeffectivelywithinternalteamsexternalpartnersandU.S.CustomsregardingFTZoperations
MaintaineducationonchangesinUSCustomsregulationsandsupportbusinesscompliancewithagencyrequirementsand/orrecommendations.
Assistingwithauditsandothercompliance-relatedactivities.
Reportpertinentinformationtobothinternalcustomersandsupplierstokeepthemapprisedandtopreventproblems.
ValidateFTZdataagainstactualdocumentationasneededtoensuretheaccuracyofintegrationandinformation.
MaintainrecordkeepingasnecessaryforsiteupkeepofForeign Trade ZoneRequirements.
SupportoptimizationofFTZoperationstoreducecostsandimproveefficiency.
Updatesiteproceduresasneededforcompliancepurposes.
Youll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree
Minimum 2 years
Understanding of Foreign Trade Zone regulations import/export procedures and U.S. Customs compliance
Experience with inventory management receiving shipping and transactions that affect material flow
Proficiency in ExcelPowerBiBI ERP/WMS systems and trade documentation
Excellent communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrates the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities in a rapidly evolving environment maintaining high performance and productivity under pressure.
