Quality Control Specialist
Location: OH
Reports to: Quality Manager

What Youll Do
As a Quality Control Specialist youll be the boots-on-the-ground food safety and quality expert. Youll ensure our production processes and products meet rigorous standardsfrom incoming ingredients to finished goods. Youll work closely with operations and QA teams to drive excellence every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections and testing of raw materials packaging and finished products
Enforce GMP SOP and food safety compliance across production
Calibrate equipment and ensure cleanliness of lab/testing tools
Support audits maintain quality records and coach teammates on best practices
Investigate and escalate non-conformances
Ensure documentation is accurate and up to date
Collaborate with warehouse and production on ingredient and shipment checks
What You Bring
15 years experience in food manufacturing or quality assurance
High school diploma required; science background a plus (Chemistry Micro)
Strong problem-solving communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Fluent in English and proficient in MS Office
A flexible team-first mindset with attention to detail
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Air-conditioned warehouse setting
Must be able to lift 2050 lbs occasionally and be on your feet up to 8 hours
Exposure to food ingredients and allergens
Frequent standing bending reaching and moving
